Family background?
My father is a journalist. He learned film making. He also produced and directed a film "Neela Parbat". My mother sang two classical songs for it. Most of my family members are inclined towards literature and arts. My all sisters and brothers are good singers.

I really don't know. I think its both.

What motivated you to choose art as a career? Any source of inspiration?
I never planned to take it as a career. I was supported by my family. That time I was not that matured to decide about my career.

Did you take proper training for it or you call someone being your academy?
I observe my senior artiste.

Do you enjoy your field? How do you feel as an artist?
Ofcourse.

Are you satisfied with what you have done uptil now?
Ofcourse. I have done all this based on my confidence.

Director & Producer with whom you like to work.
I have worked with all producers. Shahzad Khalil, Shoaib Mansoor, Nasir Hussain, Iqbal Ansari, Kazim Pasha, Nusrat Thakur, Qaiser Farooq and many more are those with whom I like to work.

Writer whose script you like most.
I like to perform in serious plays. Bano Qudsia, Ashfaque Ahmed, Anwer Maqsood and Noorul Huda Shah are my favourite writers.

How many plays have been done by you?
I don't remeber the exact figure. Many singles plays approx. twenty five.

What do you do other than this?
I am a writer and wrote "Neeli Dhoop", and four for Eid. I have written total nine plays. Its about four years that I am writing.

If you weren't the artist, what would you have been?
I would have been a housewife that still I am. As I know I am a born artist, I must have to become artist to express my inborn capabilities.

Why not your album has been released, although you are a good singer?
I have sung so many songs but unfortunately I have no time to do this. I can't give more attention to it, but I have planned to release one. My style is "Semi Classical".

What are your leisure time activities?
A. Mostly I am at home. I am a housewife.

How do you feel as an artist?
Ofcourse great.

Did you perform in Pakistani movie? If not, why?
I have been offered many times by good directors but I don't want to work in it.

Your future aims / dreams.
I want to be a typical mother, release an album, want to do and write a lot of Dramas.

Any memorable event?
Yes, my few Dramas and when my elder daughter was born.

It is not effected, not at all.

I don't mind. My daughter performed in two Dramas and she also do modeling. My elder daughter likes to Direct . She is a good artist as well.

A. If they assess themself as a good artist they should work. Explore yourself what you can do, how much spirit you have to do this.
