Sheer Khurma and Kheer
| Ingredients: |

| Milk (or 2 cups of powder milk dissolved in 12 cups of water) |
1 liter |
| Sugar |
4 tbs |
| Seeds small illaichi |
5-6 |
| Chopped pistachios |
1/4 cup |
| Chopped coconut (dried) |
1/2 cup |
| Chopped almond |
1/2 cup |
| Raisins |
1/4 cup |
| Chopped dried dates |
1/4 cup |
| Vermicelli (savaiyan) |
1 hand ful |
| Kevera essence |
1tsp |
| Wash the dry fruit and soak in alittle milk |
3-4 hours |
Method:
- In a pot add milk,sugar and illaichi seeds and simmer on low heat until it starts to thicken.
- Add the vermicelli and keep cooking till it softens.
- Add the presoaked dry fruit and cook for 5 minutes and just before removing from heat add the kevera essence.
- Can be served hot or chilled.

Kheer

| Milk and a small tin condensed milk |
1 liter |
| Sugar |
4-5 tbs |
| Reduce amount if adding sweetened condensed milk |
1/2 cup rice washed |
| Dry fruit |
pistachio,almonds |
| Kevera essence |
1tsp |
| Seeds small illaichi |
3-4 |

Method:
- In a pot add milkand illaichi seeds and washed rice and leave on a very low flame to cook.
- When rice becomes very soft smush it and leave on low heat to thicken.
- Add sugar and condensed milk and cook till bubbles start forming.
- Add kevera essence just before removing from heat.
- Garnish with dry fruit.
