Peas Kofta Curry
Ingredients:
Garlic 6 cloves
Tomatoes 2 nos.
Onion 1 no.
Turmeric powder ½ tsp.
Coriander powder 2 tsps.
Cumin seeds, roasted ¼ tsp.
Garam Masala 1 tsp.
Dry red chilies 6 nos.
For the koftas
Poppy seeds 1 tsp.
Green Peas (shelled & boiled) 300 gms.
Potatoes (boiled & peeled) 300 gms.
Gram flour As required
Salt To taste

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients under koftas into a paste and roll into balls.
  • Deep fry these balls and keep aside.
  • Fry the minced onion till they turn brown, then add the remaining spices with the chopped tomatoes.
  • Add a little water and cook until the gravy comes to a boil.
  • Lastly add the fried koftas, simmer and remove from heat.
