Egg Caramel Custard
Ingredients:  
Eggs 3 nos.
Sugar 6 tbsp.
Milk 3 cups
Essence A few drops
Salt A pinch

Method:

  • Heat the sugar in a clean, dry frying pan.
  • Stir till the sugar melts and turns brown and add about 9 tbsps. of hot water.
  • Bring the water to boil and keep on the fire till it thickens.
  • Take it off the fire and keep aside until required.
  • Heat the milk over boiling water.
  • Beat the eggs and add the caramelised sugar and salt to it.
  • Add this mixture to the milk, stirring all the time.
  • Add the essence and pour into custard cups and steam.
