Mark Owen has vowed to save his troubled former Take That bandmate Robbie Williams.

The 35-year-old star says Robbie only has to ask and he will be on the first plane to the US to help him beat his addiction to prescription drugs.

He told Britain's Reveal magazine: "When I heard about him checking into rehab I felt sad - I just want him to be happy again.

"I'll do anything I can to help him. If he wants me to see him, I'll be straight on that plane.

"Me and Rob went through a period when we didn't speak, but then he got in touch. Rob was always my mate. I'm so worried about him."

Robbie, who is reportedly hooked on anti-depressants Seroxat and Xanax and the painkiller Vicodin, checked into Arizona's The Meadows rehabilitation centre on his 33rd birthday (13.02.07).

A day later, Take That - who comprise of Mark, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - collected the British Single BRIT award for their hit 'Patience'.

During the London ceremony, host Russell Brand mocked Robbie over his addiction and reports stating he needs 36 super-strength double espressos, 20 Red Bulls and 60 cigarettes just to get through the day.

Mark was unhappy with the jibes levelled at his friend, saying: "I felt bad at the BRITs because there were some jokes that made it looked like he was being mocked."
