Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep have been sending each other death threats.
The Hollywood stars - who are both nominated for Best Actress at the forthcoming Academy Awards - are equally keen to win the honour and have jokingly been warning each other about how far they will go to be victorious.
Sandra said: "With Meryl, when this whole thing started, I left her a voicemail going, 'You've got to watch your back.
"I'm gonna cut you. I'm gonna take you down,' and then she sent me dead orchids and told me to die, so I sent her a case of liquor and told her to toast to white trash."

Although they are now 'rivals', Sandra and Meryl locked lips at last month's Critics Choice Movie Awards when they were both named as Best Actress.
Sandra - who is married to motorcycle enthusiast Jesse James - said of the embrace: "It was mind-blowing and unbelievable. It ranks like in the top two moments in my life."
Sandra - who is nominated for her role in 'The Blind Side' - is favourite to win the prestigious honour at the ceremony at Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre on March 7.
However, as well as competition from Meryl - who received the nod for her role in 'Julie and Julia' - she will also fight it out with Dame Helen Mirren for 'The Last Station', 'An Education' star Carey Mulligan, and newcomer Gabourey Sidibe for her portrayal of the lead character in 'Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire'.
