Reese Witherspoon's gift limit
 Reese Witherspoon only buys her children "one or two" Christmas presents.
The 'Four Christmases' star - who has nine-year-old Ava and five-year-old Deacon with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe - admits she limits the amount of gifts her family receive on the festive holiday because she doesn't want them to be spoilt.
After saying Ava has asked for a horse for Christmas, Reese said: "I'm a little strict about that kind of stuff. I think kids do best when they only have a couple of things that they really enjoy.
"I try and stay away from the gluttony of things. They don't appreciate it as much. When they only get one or two things, they really like it."
She added: After opening presents, I start cooking, and I really enjoy that part of it
Reese - who is currently dating her 'Rendition' co-star Jake Gyllenhaal - also revealed she loves cooking a huge festive feast.
She added: "After opening presents, I start cooking, and I really enjoy that part of it. The kids play with their toys, and I cook some dinner. It's nice."
The Oscar-winning actress added that the children have found a novel way to entertain themselves when they grow tired of their new toys - dressing up her Academy Award.
She laughed: "At Christmas time, they put a little hat on him and a little scarf so he doesn't get cold!
