Penelope Cruz's fame hate
 Penelope Cruz is not interested in being a celebrity.
The 34-year-old actress - who has been in the spotlight since getting her first break on Spanish TV aged 16 - says she has learned to cope with media attention as she has got older, but finds it tiresome most of the time.
When asked about being included in 'most beautiful' lists in magazines, Penelope - who has been dating actor Javier Bardem for the past year - said: "That's not about me - it's about what I'm wearing. As I get older, I become less patient with all the time spent in the chair with the hair and the make-up and all of that. I have to put so much time into looking good for my work that in my private life I want to be more comfortable."
Penelope also said she has learned to pace herself with her film choices, so she can concentrate on her personal life as well.
She added: "I used to be addicted to work, and for a while I was going from movie to movie, doing four movies a year. But after a while you feel a little bit empty. If you just go from movie set to movie set, there's no point to life.
