Kate Hudson has pledged to have Botox injections.

The 30-year-old actress - who is currently dating New York Yankees baseball star Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez - thinks the wrinkle-tightening treatment is great and doesn't understand why people are obsessed with finding out who has had the treatment.

She said: "I was in a press conference once, and someone says, 'So I can tell you've never had Botox!' Is that a compliment? Or are you trying to say I'm starting to get wrinkles? I literally was like, 'What?'

"Everyone's so obsessed with who gets Botox, but it's great! Are you kidding? The fact that women can avoid going under the knife, and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I'm glad it's there for when it's time."

The 'Fools Gold' star also spoke of her joy at being a woman.

She said: "I love being a girl. I love clothes and I love the rituals of facials and body treatments, all the stuff girls get."

Jennifer Aniston, 40, has previously confessed to once having the skin-smoothing injections, but said she didn't like the results.

She said: "You see women and you know they're not young but you can't tell how old they are. It makes them look harder. The warmth in their face goes away. It is not a good look."
