Happy Birthday Kate Moss!
 Today Kate Moss has turned 38 years old (not that you are able to tell) and so we’ve compiled a list of ten facts about the supermodel.
•She was born on January 16 1974 in London, England.
•Her modelling career began when she was 14 after she was spotted by a modelling scout in JFK airport, New York. She was en route home after a holiday in Barbados.
•In 1992 Moss went to America to meet the casting director of Calvin Klein's advertising campaign. She got the job instantly and appeared in magazines and on billboards a year later. The Calvin Klein contract was reportedly worth £1.2 million.
•She dated Johnny Depp from 1994-1998.
•Kate’s not just taken the modelling industry by storm by the music and beauty ones as well. She’s been the face of Rimmel’s make-up campaigns and has featured in numerous music videos, including I just don’t know what to do with myself by The White Stripes. A photo of her was also used as the album cover for Bryan Ferry’s, Olympia.
•She gave birth to her daughter, Lila Grace, in 2002 (she was age 28). The father is Jefferson Hack, co-publisher of the British magazine, Dazed and Confused.
•In 2005 she faced bad press and lost a number of modelling contracts (one of which being with H&M) after a British tabloid newspaper published photographs of her allegedly snorting cocaine.
•It was also 2005 when she started dating Babyshambles and Libertines frontman, Pete Doherty. Doherty suggested that he and Kate were engaged at a 2006 concert, even though they had been on and off. The pair called it quits though a year later.
•Depite the scandals, Kate managed to make a comeback and one way she did it was by launching a signature line at Topshop. The clothing/accessory range was a hit in the UK and was later sold in the US.
•In 2007 Kate met Jamie Hince, one of the singers from the indie/rock band, The Kills. It was announced in early 2011 that the pair were engaged and they finally wed on July 1 2011, in the Cotswolds, England. She wore a John Galliano dress, whilst Hince wore Yves Saint Laurent.
