Cameron Diaz's stage fright
 Cameron Diaz refused to appear in Shrek the Musical for a fear of performing live on stage.
The actress, who provides the voice of Princess Fiona in the Shrek movies, is a big fan of the film franchise's theatre spin-off, but did not want to be involved.
Speaking at Shrek the Musical's opening night on Broadway in New York on Sunday, Diaz said: “What they do up there is, to me, impossible.
“It's wonderful, though. They've done such a great job. They worked really hard, and it really pays off."
She added: “It's hilarious, there are so many laughs. It's great to see all the actors playing it together, because when we do it for the animated (films), we never see each other. We don't work together.
