Model Christie Brinkley took time out from her custody battle with cheating husband Peter Cook in Long Island yesterday (22JAN07) to thank fans who have offered her their support.
Brinkley filed for divorce last year (06) after discovering Cook had romanced his 19-year-old assistant.
Appearing in court for the first day of proceedings, a smiling Brinkley said, "I have been approached by many men and women going through this, who have given me their support and I really appreciate it."
The model and Cook are fighting for custody of their son Sailor.
