Amelle Berrabah's calorific diet
 Amelle Berrabah was forced to go on a high-calorie diet after becoming dangerously underweight.
The Sugababes singer - whose dress size plummeted to a size zero earlier this year after a series of traumatic events, including boyfriend Freddie Fuller being attacked with a machete - admits she couldn't cope with the stress.
Amelle said: "Physically and mentally, I couldn't handle all the terrible things that were happening. It was like a nervous breakdown. My weight plummeted to below a size zero. I was terrified to look at myself.
"It got so bad that I went to the doctors. They told me my weight was dangerously low, I would have to eat highly calorific food every two to three hours."
Amelle, who is now a healthy size eight, admits she feels more sexually attractive now her womanly curves are back.
She added: "Being seriously skinny doesn't suit me. It makes me feel so unattractive."
