S. Ramanathan is very happy and contented unlike many of his colleagues. His shoot of 'Zamaanat', a movie he has been nursing for long is over. However, he doesn't want to announce its date of release. He leaves it to his belief in 'Karma'. The shoot was held in Chennai where its star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Shanti and Arshad Warsi besides others did it with all grace despite the high temperature there. The director, S. Ramanathan, is not worried about the long delay of the project thanks to 'Karma' again. He is a firm believer of 'Karma'. He doesn't mind the delay as long as his lead pair of Amitabh Bachchan and Vijay Shanti are supportive. He is neither unhappy with the budget going haywire. He built huge sets for outdoor shooting. " This is my destiny. So why bother about it," he adds. The storyline is simple as seen on the set. Amitabh Bachchan plays a lawyer and Vijay Shanti is his wife. There was a pathetic scene where Amitabh fired bullets and spoke in anger. Then he fumbled and fell flat on the floor. Here Vijay Shanti, his wife, appeared very distressed, but took courage and helped her husband to stand on his feet. Then followed another scene though after a lunch break. This too was shot in no time. The director heaved a sigh of relief and is contented as ever. He tells the media that he has no complaint or regret. He remembers his past when he shot his earlier movies.
