Sarena (Amisha Patel), a pampered daughter of a millionaire Vivek Dewan (Gulshan Grover), is on the threshold of a great musical career. Their perfect world is torn apart when a young and intrepid reporter, Jai (Jimmy Shergill) stumbles upon a scoop. He discovers that Sarena is not the real daughter of her father. The news makes headlines and a devastated and enraged Vivek Dewan uses all the power at his command to suppress more information and also sues the reporter. When Sarena’s shock and grief pass, her curiosity is piqued and she decides to get in touch with Jai and find out more about herself.....

A poignant and thought-provoking story, written by Mahesh Bhatt, that deals with the search for identity. The film also stars Nafisa Ali, Rajpal Yadav and Ehsan Khan. Music is composed by rookie composer Daboo Malik, Anu Malik’s kid brother, who has come up with a hummable soundtrack. Numbers include ‘Aye Chaand Khubsoorat’, ‘Haalat Na Pooch’ and ‘Main Kaun Hoon’.
