Mumbai : After a long gap, there's a film with a storyline that's based in
Kashmir, popularly called the "Switzerland of the East." Yahaan (2005), debut film of
ad filmmaker turned director Soorjit Sarcar, is set in violence-ridden Kashmir,
and is the story of Adaa, a Kashmiri girl, who falls in love with an Indian army
captain, Aman. Their love blooms despite apparent disapproval from all quarters.
On a rainy evening, the music launch of Yahaan (2005) was held at an appropriate venue
Rain Bar and Eatery in the southern city of Mumbai. In keeping with the subject
of the movie the theme of the evening was `Kashmir.
