When a couple is murdered by a criminal (Ajit),
their three sons are separated. The eldest, Shankar (Dharmendra), becomes a
professional thief who has never forgotten the trauma and relentlessly pursues
the killer. The middle brother (Vijay Arora), a playboy, falls in love with a
wealthy heiress (Zeenat Aman) and the youngest (Tariq) is brought up by an old
family servant. The plot takes some interesting twists and turns before the
brothers are re-united by a song they used to hear their parents sing when they
were kids.
