Apoorva
Chaudhury (Madhuri Dixit) is the only daughter of a multi-millionaire. Nihal (Mukul
Dev) is the son of a civil servant. Apoorva loves Nihal. Malhar (Nana Patekar)
has a passion for theatre. He too wishes to marry Apoorva. He pleads with
Apoorva's father to give his daughter's hand in marriage but is rejected. In a
scuffle with Nihal's father, Malhar kills him accidentally and is imprisoned.
Nihal and Apoorva's engagement breaks off.
Years roll by..Malhar turns into a criminal and commits crimes in different
disguises. Nihal, now a police officer, vows to trap Malhar, who takes on the
challenge.
