Karan (Govinda) is a young college student who’s enjoying a carefree life
with his three friends. They are also part of the NCC in college and their
leader is Major Lathi (Alok Nath), who loves them like his own children. The
Major’s best friend is the Police Commissioner of the city, Tiwari (Anupam Kher),
whose daughter Pooja (Divya Bharti), is a classmate of Karan’s. Pooja and Karan
fall in love, but her father does not approve of the match and this causes a
rift between the commissioner and Major Lathi. To complicate matters, Bali (Mohnish
Behl), the younger brother of a notorious underworld gangster, also falls in
love with Pooja. Bali frames Karan in a murder charge.
