Gopal (Manoj) a young man, who had a miraculous escape from a fiery car
crash, falls in love with Seema (Sharmila Tagore). Problems arise when Seema's
rich father, who is unhappy about the match, fixes his daughter’s marriage to
the villainous Kailash (Pran). Kailash, though he agrees, has his lustful sights
set on Saloni (Mumtaz) a fiery village belle.
The film’s highlight is definitely O P Nayyar’s superb soundtrack, with Asha
Bhonsle excelling herself in numbers like ‘Aaj Koi Pyaar Se’ and ‘Haule Haule
Saajna’ – all the richness and depth of her voice comes through in these
playful, deeply romantic songs.
