Sridevi's best film, here she plays the role of a mentally retarded woman who
has the faculties of a five-year old.Played with great elan by Sridevi , she is
looked after by Kamal Hassan who manages to cure her of her illness in the
process falling in love with her. Only in the end does he realise that he has
lost her since she no longer remembers him.
