Narendra(Rajeev Kapoor)comes to gangotri, a small town at the foothills of
Himalays, to escape the madness of his industrialist father's world, where
political corruption rules peoples lives. In Gangotri, Narendra meets Ganga (Mandakini).
This girl from the Himalays symbolises purity, love and simplicity and Narendra
finds his soul mate. They marry and he returns to Calcutta wit a promise to
return and escort het to his family. Little does he know that during his absence
his father has already fixed his marriage to Radha (Divya Rana)as she is the
daughter of an ambitious political friend of Narendra's father. Tus begins the
struggle to win the battle against all odds for the sake of truth& love. Raj
Kapoor's Ram Teri Ganga Maili is a love story set against a backdrop of moral
decadence, social corruption and political intrigue - where morals, goodness and
love have no meaning.
