An expert thief, Raja (Rajesh Khanna) who always perfectly stole valuables
but sometimes got caught and was prisoned. One day, due to a chase between him
and the cops when he escaped, he fled to a someone's wedding. Just to hide from
the cops he married the bride, a girl named Nirmala (Sharmila Tagore). After
marriage Raja told his spouse that he had nothing to do with her and claimed to
disown her.
