A young truck driver Ajit’s (Dharmendra) tragic past returns to haunt him,
when his dying mother reveals that he is an adopted child and that his real
parents have been massacred by a dacoit, Bharat (Ajit). He swears revenge and
sets out in search of the deadly killer. The film co-stars Hema Malini and has
Keshto Mukherjee and Johnny Walker providing comic relief, while old-timer
Pradeep Kumar plays a supporting role. Music by Laxmikant -Pyarelal is notable
mainly for the roistering ‘Main Jat Yamla Pagla Diwana’.
