Directed by Manmohan Krishna, Noorie is the love story of Noorie (Poonam
Dhillon) and Yusuf (Farooque Sheikh). When a village youth, Bashir (Bharat
Kapoor) casts his evil eye on Noorie and discovers that she loves Yusuf, his
jealousy knows no bounds and he is even willing to commit murder….
The film has Madan Puri and Geeta Siddharth cast in sympathetic roles. Noorie
has a loyal protector in her little dog, Khairoo, who saves her from danger. The
film’s music is composed by Khayyam and includes the romantic title song ‘Aaja
Re O Mere Dilbar Aaja’ and ‘Chori Chori Koyi Aaye’.
