Titillation and sleaze in abundance meant for enjoyment is what ‘Mazaa Mazaa’ is all about. The film is by writer-director T.L.V. Prasad, who had a decade back done many films with Mithun Chakraborty. He cites this story as a fairytale, though it appears something very much different from it. The story is about a 15-year-old girl Jassi. She feels that she is not good looking and doesn’t have the right kind of attitude. She is young and she has a trouble with it. She always complains about it and want to be like older people who can go to discos, wear flashy clothes and make ups and look beautiful. She has a fat and loving friend Rocky who always supports her and stands by her. Her woe doesn’t end there. She also has a rival in school Monica. Monica is somewhat the same kind of girl that Jassi aspires to become. Monica is urban, good looking, and does things according to her wish. However there comes a twist in the story, when one-day Jassi’s wish of becoming what she wants come true. She grows big and beautiful overnight and so does her friends Rocky and rival Monica. They all reach the age 25. How do Jassi handles herself forms the rest of the story. The initial story of the film is very much reminiscent to the popular TV soap Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. T.L.V. Prasad has weaved his fairytale like story out of it. However after sometime the film takes a very different turn into abundance of skin show and titillation. The film is meant for hoi polloi and there is no doubt about it. If it’ll appeal at all it’ll appeal to the masses. The film has music by Arun Daga and it is okay. Payal Rohatgi is best in showing her skin and here too she overpasses every competitor of hers. The other heroine Shivani also exposes without inhibitions. Others like Farid Amiri, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Pankaj Berry and Tej Sapru are apt.
