Rahul (Aftab Shivdasani) and his group of friends ride on Bus No 16 every
morning to college. Rahul sees a girl on this bus regularly and he falls in love
with her. She is Sandhya (Amisha Patel) a girl who’s battling hard to
concentrate on her studies and make a life for herself and her mother, away from
the influence of her alcoholic father. Sandhya’s not looking for any
distractions and Rahul’s brother, Dr Tiwari (Jackie Shroff) tries to convince
him that he should wait till he settles down a bit before making a commitment.
Before he can decide what to do, life takes a strange turn for all these people.
