Khamoshi (Silence) is the story of Annie (Manisha Koirala) whose parents cannot speak or hear. As a child she learns music from her grandmother (Helen) but after a tragic incident in their house her father sells the family piano. One day Annie meets Raj (Salman Khan),who inspires her and brings music back into her life. Annie's parents are unable to appreciate her desire to become a singer with Raj's help. The film is shot on location in Goa and has some beautifully choreographed dance sequences. The film features 8 songs including "Ankhon Mein Kya", "Aaj Mein Upar" and "Jana Suno Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain".
