Vijay (Randhir Kapoor) and Neeta (Jaya Bhaduri) are classmates who fall in
love, but a family feud from the past comes up as an obstacle in their path.
This breezy love-story has an adorable-looking Jaya toting a huge doll around
with her. The film was notable for R D Burman’s brilliant soundtrack. Asha
Bhosle in ‘Jaane Jaan’ ranges effortlessly up and down the musical scale and
Kishore Kumar’s spectacular vocal acrobatics in ‘Yeh Jawani’ and ‘Samne Yeh Kaun
Aya’ made one reviewer remark, “There are people who worship Burman for
composing numbers like these!”
