Jaane Hoga Kya’ announced few years back promised to be a film on an
innovative storyline. And indeed innovative it was for the film was about human
cloning. But the film was decked up in the shelves for quite a long phase. At
last it’s going to see the light of the day. It is a Pinkey Srivastava
Production and launches director Glenn and Ankush. The film stars Aftab
Shivdasani in a dual role along side Bipasha Basu and Preeti Jhangiani. The
music of the film has been composed by Nikhil-Vinay and Sajid-Wajid. Sameer and
Jalees-Rashid has penned the lyrics. ‘Palkein Uthake Dekhiye’ is the first song
that opens up the sound track. The voices of Udit Narayan and Anuradha Paudwal
do excite but the excitement ends there itself, as the track doesn’t prompt
anything much more than that. Nikhil Vinay tune is routinous and Sameer’s words
are insipid. You would gladly like to hurry through the track. But the track
haunts you again as it appears as an ‘Instrumental’ later in the audio.
Promising nothing refreshing again is ‘Dheere Dheere’. Sameer seems to be at the
loss of words, as he uses the oft-repeated words again and again. The music is
no comfort either. Some difference appears at hand with ‘Teri Mast Mast Jawaani’.
This is a grinding and gyrating track crooned in rollicking voice of Sukhwinder
Singh, Mahalaxmi and R.S. Sajid Wajid and lyricist Jalees Rashid appears good.
Something similar again is ‘Bechaniya Badhne Lagi’ with the only difference of
Sunidhi Chauhan replacing Mahalaxmi. There is passion in the track though it
sadly fails to ignite. Just a passé!
‘Dil Dhak Dhak’ assures to make you cry out of boredom and dullness. The lyrics
are worthless and the munchy punchy tune sound weary. Shaswati who has sung many
popular remix tracks formerly, doesn’t lead us anywhere. It also proves to be a
poor deal for Shaan. The remix of the track also falters to provide any kind of
entertainment. Though the much-required change comes in the last track. ‘Kuchh
To Hua Hai’ is the one and only melodious song in the album. Sung in the voices
of Abhijeet and Shreya Ghoshal, this is a likeable one. Nikhil-Vinay has at last
put some effort. The soundtrack of the film can be rightly termed as a
complete waste affair. The lyrics and the music appears to be heard ample times
before. With a mediocre appeal the audio of the film will hardly create any
stir. Songs like ‘Teri Mast Mast Jawaani’ and ‘Kuchh To Hua Hai’, the only
strengths of the album should be promoted aggressively for good will of the
film.
