There is a dispute going on between these two families regarding property. Devyani does not consider Sethji equal in her social status and hates him. In this atmosphere of hatred blooms the love of Rahul (Govinda) and Radhika (Urmila Matondkar). Harmless banter takes place between these two which grows into love. But Devyani cannot stand this love and fixes the marriage of Radhika with Dhananjay Pratap Singh, her business associate. But in the end, true love triumphs. Rahul and Radhika meet and together they announce to the world 'Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain'.
