Panna Barve (Tabu) the daughter of Chief Minister Malti Barve (Suhasini Muley),
is kidnapped. The gang responsible demands the release of one of their members.
Panna finds out that the man who masterminded her kidnapping is none other than
her former lover, Aditya Patel (Sunil Shetty). Drawn to each other by their
struggle against similar demons, Panna and Adi both found solace in the company
of Adi's old teacher Joshi Master and in the philosophies of poet Bhau (Nana
Patekar). All these people face a series of trying circumstances, the last few
of which were deliberated by the couple’s politically ambitious parents.
