Asha hailing from an illustrious family comes down to Delhi from Srinagar to
complete her education. Here she becomes friendly with Vikas who hailed from a
lower-middle class family living in Jammu. They soon fall in love. During their
exams, Vikas receives an urgent telegram informing him that his father was
seriously ill. He leaves to see his father but unfortunately his father departs
for heavenly abode before he can reach there. His elder brother with his wife,
conspires to take whatever little share which was rightly his. Disgusted he goes
to Srinagar for a job. On other hand AshaÕs father is looking for a suitable
match for her. Vikas meets Asha and she learns about the untimely tragedy in his
life. She manages to get Vikas a job in her fathers timber factory. Unknown to
Asha, her father announces his daughters engagement to Ashwini, a rich spoilt
brat. Will Asha get married to Ashwini? Will Vikas change his fate? Will Vikas
