Deewana is a tale of how the lives of two men can become so interlaced despite
them hardly knowing each other. The story revolves around Kajal, (Divya Bharati),
a young girl who is starry eyed over an innocent youth named Ravi (Rishi Kapoor).
The two eventually marry in hopes of starting their joint life. Tragedy strikes
as Ravis greedy uncle (Amrish Puri)is hell bent on laying sole claim to the
familys fortune and murders Ravi, leaving Kajal widowed and destitute.
Alone in a new city with no one to lean on, Kajal finds love again in the form
of a young "Deewana" (Shahrukh Khan). Thinking again she will be happy, Kajal is
dealt another bad hand by fate as Ravi is found to be alive by her new husband.
Having lost his love to another, Ravis only goal now is revenge! How he takes
