Astitva portrays the "typical Male Chauvinist" in today's time. Srikant(
Sachin Khedekar) is shocked to hear that his wife (Tabu) has not been loyal to
him in the past, he is al the more shocked to learnt that their son is not even
his , and is a result of an affair his wife had with someone else (Monesh Bahl).
He has cheated on her in the past too but justifies it by saying that he is a
man! He demands a divorce- but will everything that the couple has built up over
so many years be destroyed in one second.
