Director Anil Sharma is back with another war film titled, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo after his earlier films like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, The Hero. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo (ATHWS) is a love triangle against the back drop of Indian Army. The flick casts Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Sandali Sinha. Amitabh Bachchan dons the role of Major General Amarjeet Singh, who is a dynamic officer and a true patriot. To him bravery is just not an attitude of mind but a legacy. Amarjeet wants his grandson, Kunal (Bobby Deol), to be as great as him. While he wants him to follow the footsteps of his father, Kunal thinks otherwise. Carefree by nature, Kunal would rather have fun with his friends. But to please his family Kunal joins the army. Major Rajeev (Akshay Kumar) is a brave and an outstanding army officer, a winner all the way. ATHWS has Bobby Deol and Akshay Kumar do some daredevil action scenes without the use of duplicates. Divya Khosla and Kapil Sharma debut in this mammoth project. The supporting cast of the film also includes Nagma, Aarti Chabria, Vivek Shauq, Kapil Sharma, Surendra Pal Singh, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Rajesh Vivek, Govind Namdeo, Danny and Ashutosh Rana. Music is by Anu Malik and the lyrics by Sameer.
