Coming to the movie, Aamdani Athanni Kharcha Rupaiya (AAKR). It is a
quickie that comes from the house of Padmalaya. It is a film about four middle
class couples - Govinda-Juhi, Chandrachur-Tabu, Vinay-Isha and Johny-Ketki. AAKR
is about how these couples manage their lives with a limited source of income -
a problem that is faced by millions of couples around the globe. An attempt has
been made to portray this point in a lighter vein by K. Raghavendra Rao - the
director of 'Himmatwala'.
