Hair styles and care tips Long Hair... Three Styles for Fall
Easy, no special skills needed!
Our lives are just about to get more complicated. You might have a job that requires one style, school that requires something else and then there is a style for playtime and lets add evening to the mix as well. Here are three styles that will take you through the day... any day. For Work Lets say that you need something sleek and sophisticated. Here's what you do. Use a little straightening lotion and then blow dry it straight. Pull back and pin into an elegant chignon. Hide pins well, nothing looks worse.
For Play If your hair has some natural curl, use some curl enhansing gel combined with a curl enhansing cream (to prevent the crunch) and then scrunch in some added curl. Allow to dry naturally for a playful look. Be sure to have some long layers cut into your hair for lots of movement.
For Evening Something a little less structured is perfect for that night on the town. Hair pulled up into a high ponytail will do nicely. Choose a hair accessory to highlight the lift of the ponytail. A length of ribbon wrapped around the base of the ponytail will work if you have nothing glittery on hand.
Additional Tips Keep ends trimmed to prevent split ends from travelling up the shaft. Be sure to use shampoos and conditioners that have been formulated for your hair type. One shampoo does not fit all. It is really important to use a wide tooth comb for detangling wet hair. Your hair is espcially vulnerable during this time.
Hair Spray and Acne What You Need To Know Hairspray has been in our bathrooms for the few generations. Its purpose... to protect and prolong the life of our style, whether it is sleek or curly. And just one look at a drugstore wall, will give you some idea of just how many varieties there are. They can run from the mildest, where it seems that there is nothing there at all, to the heaviest which is just one step away from those hard lacquers that were formulated in the days of our mothers and grandmothers.
Have you ever noticed that your forehead often receives a "healthy" spray of these chemicals? Could this be the reason that blemishes are suddenly appearing? But while researching this article, I came across a little shield that you can put in front of your face before spraying. It's large enough to protect any area of your face, but small enough to manage with one hand.
It might just be what you are looking for. It has other uses as well. It is great for protecting your face from the extreme heat of your hair dryer. And what about your earrings? Did you ever think about what a buildup of hairspray would do to them? "Squirt Divert" stops all of the above from happening. ! I have included the url for you so that you can take a peek at this great little product.
