Dull and Boring! These are the first expressions that generally all viewers have after experiencing this over-stretched "confused" love story. The multiplex era has opened new gates to urban-savvy stories and trendy concepts but it's important to have skill of narrating and treating it well.

'Kaisey Kahen' is a hi-profile urban-centric love story where two lovers are torn between their personal and professional preferences. Anurag Kashyap 'Life in a…Metro' was the best judge for the occasion and it got its due response while the rest of the similar flicks like 'Kya Love Story Hai' failed miserably at the box-office. Debutante director Mohit Hussein has chosen a different and innovative premise for his first film but as a story teller he has disappointed completely.

In Bollywood, there have been stories about the teens falling in love. There have been endless stories about love meeting with opposition either from society or parents. There have been stories about extramarital affairs through the upsurge of sleazy erotic thrillers. 'Kaisey Kahen' is not about teen romance, parental opposition or fear but a relevant concept of having preferences in life.

It brings in unpredicted and unwanted situations when your own career comes in way of your love life. It brings closer to a situation where a person has to choose the right path for making love a worthwhile journey while having his professional goals intact.

'Kaisey Kahen' is a story of Aditya (Rajveer) and Radhika (Neha) who find love in each other. Youthfully cheerful and ambitious, both Aditya and Radhika were quite flourishing in their respective careers and were looking at placing themselves at the top of their professions.

Aditya was doing wonderfully as a banker and was already aiming at the CEO's position in spite of being just 25 years old. Radhika hails from affluent business class family but she has preferred to be hot-shot journalist. It was this media-savvy profession of hers which made her come close to Aditya. Everything seemed well as they spent time with each other and fell deeper in love.

Their professional life started dominating over their personal life and they were spending some quality time away from each other. Both of them have reached to a stage where they have to be on their toes but their personal life was getting neglected. Radhika had to leave for another city after her promotion.

It culminated into a long distance relationship between the two but that's what kind of life they wanted to live. Aditya finds love through his newly appointed boss (Aditi Govritkar) but still he craves for Radhika. 'Kaisey Kahen' ends on a dragging end where the boy finally admits that riches can buy luxury but love and satisfaction in life.

It's an innovative concept that has gone awry due to its bad scripting, sluggish screenplay and underperformed acting from new set of actors. The film duration exceeds the greater limit in explaining its premise while the amateurish acting makes it an intolerable show. 'Kaisey Kahen' starts off with a poorly scripted chemistry between two lovers. The silly "gay" party interview which entraps over-enthused boy in a camera by the over- ambitious girl holds the base for this chemistry.

It progresses even with more amateurish screenplay where both lovers attract and repel each other for petty reasons. It seems the scriptwriter has gone decades back in conceiving haphazard sub plots and evoking a rage of disinterest and disenchantment among lovers.

The girl (Neha Jhulka) wants boy (Rajveer) to visit her aunt but the boy has no time as he is all set for a business meeting. The meeting gets cancelled and the "geek" looking boy celebrates with four bottles of beer with his boss at his place. The girl gets annoyed and so do audiences for having such under-baked plot to disclose their personal and professional preferences.

The final spilt between these two lovers is more excruciating for viewers than these lovers as it gets over- stretched with mindless screenplay. The over-ambitious female journalist is promoted to a higher post and for this she has to shift her base from London to Mumbai. The girl expects the boy to stop her from professional endeavors but the boy does the contrary.

It generates a sense of misunderstanding that finally draws parallel lines between them and makes them stranger for ever. In between there is infusion of sexy and outrageous female CEO (Aditi Govitrikar) who babbles silly riddles before the commencement of every board meeting.

She even tries to correlate the exact meaning of "sex appeal" while flaunting her physical asset with zero chemistry. It can't be any sort of third track or an impressive move to make this love story progressively work but it proves to be a loosely conceived side-track that derails the film from its subject.

Producer Smita Thackerey has short stint as film producer and her only success lies in 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' while her 'Sandwich' flopped miserably. Her third major impact 'Kaisey Kahen' should have well been televised on satellite channels or should have been formatted in Home Videos rather than making its way on the big screen.

Mohit Hussein's directorial skills fail to impress viewers due to his sluggish style of filmmaking. The film should have been curtailed by at least 30 to 40 minutes as it drags on unnecessarily in the second half.

Newcomer Rajveer Dutt may have model looks but has proven too wooden for acting. His poor diction, unimpressive body language and shoddy dialogue delivery are the major minus points that decimate the quality of the film. Neha Jhulka, a popular celebrity in South Indian cinema, makes her first screen appearance in Bollywood.

The actress has glam looks with a grip on her emotions that work well . It's unfortunate that they didn't materialize to perfection in this poorly scripted character. Kunal Kumar makes good entry as comedian after a successful stint in comedy shows. Chhavi Mittal, another TV star makes confident entry with her convinced performance. Zarina Wahab is reduced to a side kick with just four scenes.

Cinematography by Setu is breathtaking and works well in capturing London's urban delights. Pritam's music is the major highlight of the film.

The title track "Kaisey Kahen" and "Aarzo Hai" are melodious to the core but their conceptualization has not been furnished to perfection.

'Kaisey Kahen' will have poor opening in its first weekend and will be losing ground in coming weeks. It will go unnoticed and will be non-starter for its muddled and underperformed display.
